"Miss Sadie, I cannot "thank you" enough for all you have taught me and JJ since last spring! You have a gift with horses that you have worked to improve for years. You also have a gift for teaching. The combination of the two is rare." Carla Wlison-Leff~Dressage Student
What Our Clients have to say:
"As a professional horse trainer for over 25 years, I have looked far and wide to find a trainer to finish my own stallions and horses that needed a special touch like I would give to show horses or using ranch horses if I had the extra time, but when my horse ranch business began to consume all my time and none left to keep putting training time on my own and do outside training, I finally found Sadie. Actually I found her thru one of my clients that raved about how good she trained his horse and said I should try her. I am out of state from Sadie, but I only cared about having my horses done right, and so I took one of my stallions to Sadie and from that moment on thru many years forward, she is the only one I will use as she truly knows her profession, but more than that....she 'reads' horses as individuals and knows just what they need to bring out their best performance while leaving their spirit and personality in tact. She takes much less time to finish a horse because she works everyday as long as it takes and the foundation she puts on them lasts permanently.....even if they sit a year or more. She is better than all the men trainers I've sought out and used and is all business doing what is best for the horse always. I have never ever had one of my many horses come back not totally beyond my expectations in rideability and being a great performer that anyone could ride. Any area of english and western I have asked, she has delivered beautifully and no bad experiences." Wendy Malone~Spotted Fawn Paint Ranch Victor, Montana
"Hi Sadie, I think of you always and miss having you here close, more than I can say. There's no one as good as you for the "whole" horse trainer and my horses miss you" Wendy Malone~Spotted Fawn Paint Ranch Victor, Montana

What makes Sadie Ricks a good trainer? Her love of the horse. Sadie has the ability to analyze the character of the pupil and find out the method best suited to overcome their difficulties. She has an open and inquiring mind and a willingness to listen to her student's opinions and to learn from their experience, as well as from her own. This asset creates good training in the field of dressage. Sadie's skills to examine the fundamental principles behind each new method or technique enhances my lessons. As a trainer; she has a clear picture in her mind as to what constitutes a perfectly trained horse no matter what equestrian sport a student pursues. Hey Sadie, I am just loving Will Dean! What a personality. I am sure it will take us a while to get together but I think you did an awesome job matching horse and rider up! Sammy and I thank you for all your help and support. We are both looking forward to working with you this Summer. Raylene Naveran ~Wells, NV
Sadie, I just wanted to let you know that when I got home I actually fell asleep and when I woke up my legs butt and arms where so sore. And I just wanted to thank you so much! I finally feel like I am learning something and accomplishing something with Merlin. I can see that I made the right choice in investing my money in you and not a new saddle. Thank You so much! Diana Mello~Spring Creek, NV
Sadie, I just wanted to thank you for being such a wonderful teacher to me and Merlin. I feel that you have helped me improved so much not only in my riding but confidence with him. I have wasted so much money on different DVDs, books and tack that was suppose to help me and my horse and they did nothing but make me feel incompetent and frustrated. I wish I had all that money back to invest in lessons with you, I can finally say that I LOVE riding my horse. Thank You so much! Diana
I can't even begin to THANK YOU!!! This would not have been possible without you! You found Misty for me and helped me to see it was the right decision and boy you couldn't have been more right. I know I can always count on you to be at the gate when I go in to give me those last words of encouragement no matter how busy... you are or how many horses you have to run you are always there for me and for that I am eternally grateful! Thank you for being an INCREDIBLE COACH an AWESOME TRAINER and an even more AMAZING FRIEND. Kammy Maughan~Carmen, ID
